OTC Supplements – Co Q10

Coenzyme Q10 is a molecule that I’ve found extremely interesting over the years, mainly due to some of its potential interactions with various disease populations, anti-aging effects, and even interactions with heart attack patients. The list here can go on and on but what really grabbed my attention was the interactions with fibromyalgia purely for the fact that growing up, my mother suffered from severe fibromyalgia that literally diminished quality of life and even simple day-to-day tasks. OTC Supplements – Vitamin K

There are different forms of vitamin K: phylloquinone (vitamin K1) or menaquinones (vitamin K2). There are also different vitamers within the vitamin K2 class (MK-x.) For the purposes of this post, we will focus on three kinds of vitamin k. Vitamin K1 and then menaquinone-4 (MK-4) and menaquinone-7 (MK-7) which are both forms of K2.
